Our most popular model in any series is Backyard Fun Factory’s massive Fort Stockton (5’ x 7’ deck on 7’ level). The Fort Stockton has an enormous amount of play area “big and tall” and strong enough to hold both children and adults. Children can rush up the Gangplank to the Half Shack and enter the large Upper Cabin (5’x7’) by the Eave Side Door, and let their imaginations soar as they play and peer out of the whimsical Crooked Windows. They cannot wait to exit the Gable Side Door onto the 4’ x 7’ Fun Deck. There, they have a full view and feel like they are “on a mountain top!” They can peer through binoculars or pretend to be the Commander of a large ship by steering the Ship’s Wheel. A more challenging way to enter the fort is to “scale” the monstrous 7’ Rock Wall for entry to the Fun Deck and swoop down the thrilling 14’ Rave Slide to ground level over and over again! For the “monkey” in the family, there is a Monkey Bar Overhead Climber and a Chin-Up Bar underneath the Half Shack which is great for developing upper arm strength and coordination. Don’t forget the 4 Position Cantilever Swing Beam with the Bouncing Air Pogo, “Push Me Pull You” Glider, and 2 Belt Swings to race to see who can swing the highest! After a wonderful play time of exercise and fresh air, the children can relax on a wonderful Wooden Hammock in the Lower Level Conversion underneath the fort and receive messages and send messages in the Mailbox. The Fun Deck has a Lower Floor Kit under the Fun Deck and attached to the Lower Level Conversion to give even more play area on the lower level! “FUN IS OUR MIDDLE NAME!”

This footprint shows Fort Stockton with an overhead climber, a fun deck, boardwalk and a rock wall. An example of this playset with a chin up bar and hammock can be seen on page 17 of our catalog shown above.
Even on cold days, children like to get out in the fresh air and sunshine! The whimsical Upper Cabin gives them a place to play protected from the wind on a cold day. They can find the big hole in the wall inside the cabin and slide down the Gigantic Spiral Tube Slide and find themselves back outside on the ground! How about that? Let’s do it again! Well, in order to do that, they have to either climb up the 7’ Ladder with Hand Rails or “scale” the monstrous 7’ Rock Wall to the Upper Fun Deck. This is a great way to motivate children to get lots of exercise to develop their fitness and coordination. When they reach the deck, they may prefer to “swoop” down the unbelievably fast Rave Slide for a great thrill. The 4 Position Swing Beam for 7’ level is designed for swinging higher. With the two belt swings, they can race to see who can swing the highest! The Air Pogo is “loads of fun” so they can bounce and swing around. The “Push Me Pull You” Glider gives them a lesson in working together to get the most out of play. Instead of a Lower Cabin, they have a Lower Level Conversion, a wonderful open play area underneath with a Floor and Wall Slats all around. A Wooden Hammock for relaxation and a Mailbox to send and receive messages to and from family and friends completes the fun on this fantastic playset! “FUN IS OUR MIDDLE NAME!”
There is plenty of head room for adults or older children in this Lower Cabin as well as being able to walk under the Upper Fun Deck without stooping. We also installed a Floor Kit under the Fun Deck that acts as a Lower Porch to the Lower Cabin. A Mailbox is attached to that area for “Messaging.” What fun! This enormous 5’ x 7’ Fort Stockton on 7’ Level has plenty of room for play or even a “slumber party.” Children can enter the Fun Deck by the 7’ Deck Ladder with Hand Rails or climb the challenging 7’ Rock Wall. From the 7’ Upper Fun Deck (4’ x 7’) their imaginations can run wild and they will feel like they are” on top of the world!” Accessories on the Fun Deck to” trigger” their imaginations are Binoculars and a Ship’s Wheel. To add to the thrill, when entering the Upper Cabin, there is a large “Black Hole.” When they enter the hole they slide down a Giant Spiral Slide and are surprised to end up on the ground outside! What fun! Lets do it again! The Super Fast Rave Slide beside the Rock Wall is like going down “ Thrill Hill!” Children get much needed exercise by climbing to get to these thrills. Other marvelous play value to this playset is the 4 Position Cantilever Swing Beam with multiple activities. You can choose from a large variety of swings to fit your family, but this one is equipped with a “bouncy” Air Pogo), 2 Belt Swings, and a “Push Me Pull You” Glider. “FUN IS OUR MIDDLE NAME!”
